How to Create a Multi-Table Power App with Microsoft Copilot
In this video, we demonstrate how simple it is to create a multi-table Power App using Microsoft Copilot. Imagine managing a vehicle sales business with data spread across three related tables: customers, vehicles, and sales. With Copilot, you can effortlessly generate the database schema, establish relationships between tables, and have your app ready in no time.
Firstly, ensure you are using the preview version with the new data experience feature enabled in the Early Access environment. This video guides you through setting up this environment, creating a new sandbox with Early Access features enabled.
Next, we delve into using Microsoft Copilot to set up the database schema. By typing a prompt to manage vehicle sales, Copilot swiftly creates a schema with three tables: vehicles, customers, and sales. You can easily amend this schema by adding new columns, such as an image column for the vehicle table.
Once the schema is set, we move on to creating the Power App. Copilot provisions a canvas app with screens for managing sales, vehicles, and customers. We will then show you how to customise these screens, upload images, and test the functionality. The app allows you to search, edit, and add new records efficiently.
By the end of the video, you’ll see how easily you can streamline data management and boost productivity with a multi-table Power App using Microsoft Copilot. Don’t forget to subscribe for more tutorials and tips.
